Well, I have wrestled with this blog thing for a while now. Feeling like I'm slacking, and realizing that I have nothing to update because I have a full grown dog, already purchased a house, and am at a comfortable point in my career.
But...
To fill you in on the career thing. I am more than elated with where my company is headed. And most days, I love my job. Could you imagine my excitement when I was elected to travel overseas with 30 other up-and-coming individuals that were selected by my company?!? It was a surprise to both myself and my boss. It turns out, I was nominated for the "Felix Program", which identifies up-and-coming leaders from throughout the WORLD that are under the age of 3o.
And you could not believe my excitement when I found out that we would also be participating in the One Young World conference that gathers a multitude of career professionals to tackle the global problems facing today's society.
So you may think...Thanks Cassie for bragging about this but, what I really want to tell you is that I will update my blog with my adventures and travels through Zurich, Switzerland. I studied abroad in Ireland and was less than pleased with my documentation of the wonderful experience. And in my old age, it already seems like a blur..so with this trip I promise more documentation, and more detailed stories for my niece and nephew.
